"In a nutshell I could not have been more satisfied with my experience with Mark. He easily translated my performance goals into a concise and effective lesson plan and the positive results were both immediate and long term. I started the season as an inconsistent 10 handicap, capable of cracking into the high 70’s but equally as capable of trying to avoid a score in the 90’s. By the end of the year I was down to a 5.7 and was playing from the “tips.” The season highlight was a 1 under par 35 on the front nine at Jericho. Dear Fellow Golfer,

Mark Walder has been an invaluable member of our team for some time now and due to his passion for teaching and his pursuit for excellence, he has become one of the finest young golf instructors in the country.

Mark's development enables him to deliver on all three Golf Matrix promises:

1) He has studied under our instructors since 2005 and has an excellent handle on how to teach in a way that is "Performance Based." He is in touch with what it takes to get it done on the course and in competition and coaches his students accordingly.

2) Mark's has educated himself in a wide variety of areas so that he can deliver on The Golf Matrix promise of "Comprehensive" instruction. He has put in double, triple or more hours of education compared to his peers in a way that has made him a very well rounded and highly knowledgeable instructor.

3) If you haven't had a lesson with Mark yet, you may still have experienced his commitment to your "Highly Personalized" improvement over the phone. He has witnessed our commitment in this area for years and has learned very well how to lead your journey in a way that is best for you.

His casual nature and easy going personality have earned him the nickname of Mellow Walder at our school. He is fantastic at creating a comfortable setting for learning. He is also an instructor who chooses his words wisely. You won't get lost in a lot of information with Mark as he has the ability to make exactly the point he wants to make without feeling the need to tell you everything he knows.
