DDSOG Students Continue Winning Ways

Congratulations to Kevin Webb, Raleigh Chapin and Scott Jaster for great performances in the Philadelphia Section PGA Junior Championship Qualifier at Valleybrook Golf Club on July 1. Kevin finished first in the Boys 16 - 18 division, with a 2 under 70, while Raleigh finished in a tie for third place. Scott finished first in the boys 13 - 15 division, also with a 2 under 70. With these finishes, all three have qualified to play in the Junior Tour Championship later this month. They all have worked hard through the spring to improve and the results are showing!

Lukas Clark is on his way to the US Kids Golf World Championship. This tournament, held at Pinehurst, is the largest and most prestigious event in the world for players 12 and under. Lukas earned his way into the Championship with a first place finish in the 11 year old boys division at the US Kids Qualifier at Windham Country Club in New Hampshire on June 28.

And Stephen Cerbara took home the winner's trophy for the boys 12 and under division in the IJGT Ravens Claw Classic on June 22 and 23. He played very consistent golf, carding rounds of 79 and 83.
