Congratulations to Jake Gurock, who posted two consecutive wins in the last two weeks. He finished first in the Boys 13-15 division at the North East Junior Golf Tour event in Ford City, PA and followed that with another first place finish in the P.J. Boatwright Junior Qualifier in Elizabeth, PA.
Kellie Edeblut posted a strong 6th in the New Jersey State Golf Association Junior Girls Championship on July 6-7 in Chatham, NJ. Also on July 6, Scott Jaster recorded his second straight win in the Boys 13-15 division in the Philadelphia PGA Junior event at Applebrook Golf Club in Malvern, PA. His two under par 69 to claim the title was his second consecutive two under par tournament score.
Kevin Webb finished on top for the second time this season in a Philadelphia PGA Junior event. In blistering heat, at Downingtown Country Club in Downingtown, PA on July 7, he recorded a one under 71 to take the Boys 16-18 division title.
Bedens Brook Assistant Professional Mary Kate Williams finished in a tie for first in the NJ PGA Assistant Championship at Copper Hill Country Club. In an overwhelmingly male field of professionals, Mary Kate carded a 71.
